For the purposes of the 2026 Election of NRO-NC/ASO-AC representative, prospective candidates (nominees) and eligible resource members are required to use the following two template nomination letters when submitting their candidatures: one to be completed by the first nominating organisation and the other by the second nominating organisation. This is also applicable to self nominations.
In both instances, the nominator (whether the proposer or the seconder) must be a duly authorised officer of the respective organisation.
Please ensure that all nominations and secondments strictly comply with the above requirements.

Extract from Election Guidelines
6.2.4. Accordingly, candidates must:
be natural persons of full legal capacity residing within the AFRINIC service region;
have attained the age of majority;
be nominated by two (2) distinct Resource Members in good standing at the time of nomination in order to preserve the spirit of the bottom-up framework; and
have been meaningfully contributed on the AFRINIC RPD mailing list, or that of any other RIR, for a minimum aggregate period of three (3) years, and have a clear understanding of the spirit and letter of the Consolidated Policy Manual - , developed by the PDWG community process as well as current draft proposals.
The Nominating organisation is required to nominate only one candidate. In the event of multiple nominations, only the last one will be considered as valid [Article 6.2.5 of election guidelines]
